That’s right, after months of Hibernation and meditation, the fab four are back, much has changed…..

It’s cold

F***ing cold.

But we dont mind, one, cause we’ve Ten Tons of fat surrounding out glorious rumpopuli, and to warm you lot up, we’ve a couple of gigs lined up this Friday the 2nd of December and Friday the 9th.

So heres the details: -

Friday the 2nd of December, we are honoured to play alongside Dr Cyclops, our boys Grifter, and our other brothers Stubb at the Unicorn in Camden, it all kicks off at 19:00, be there, or be there, either way, be there.

Friday the 9th of December, Ten Ton Tabby are back with our Brothers from other Mothers, for the TRIPLE THREAT CHRISTMAS MASHUP, featuring MMMMMEEEEEEEAAAAAAAANNNNNNSSSSSSSTTTTTTTEEEEEDDDDDD and DDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEENNNNNNNN oh man we love these guys, and best of all? yup, theres a best of all, its at……………………………..THE TRINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Expect to see an explosion of flab and fresh riffage come the new year, expect to grab a new E.P and possibly an album, expect to come home from work to find an empty fridge, and an update from Eleven Ton Tabby and to top it off, expect the Tabby to play in your area.

Welcome back guys!

Well, what a hectic few weeks we’ve had, our brother Tom unfortunately has been unbelievably ill over the past 2 weeks, but we all know this is a lie.

 He actually tried to sell his soul to the Devil (as we all know, the devil has the face of Katie Price, the body of Kermit the Frog and the voice of Patrick Stewart), but realised he previously sold his soul in 1736 for his ESP guitar and a half eaten Big Mac.

An epic 2 week battle then followed outside Argos, to which which the devil finally lost, and walking home in the rain covered in sweat and blood, he caught man flu. 

This is the real reason why he had to miss a gig at the Flag in Watford, but thanks to Quinny and Seany for stepping up and taking the cat by the whiskers, we had a great time playing for everyone who turned up, again a massive thank you to all that night. 

Ten Ton Tabby will be back with a vengeance this Friday the 16^th to rip a new hole in the ozone layer, playing at the Boston Music Room with SNAKEBITE – SEDULUS – BLACK HELIUM, this is a brutal line up and we can’t wait to check these boys out again! 

Doors are open from 19:30, so get there early to grab a drink and come rock out with us, will be awesome to see you lot there!

 Thats right, an alternative to Hello, or half a Christmas Cracker present which i got once, wasn’t the merriest of holiday’s i can tell you…..

Ten Ton Tabby are proud to be playing alongside our veteran Brothers and Sister Meansteed for an explosive night, and who better to light the fuse, gaffa tape it to your face and push you off a cliff? None other then our boys Driven, this coming Saturday the 27th of August at the Trinity bar in harrow. Now, we know most of you have been paid, so theres no excuse, unless the thought of Tom, Matt and Adam under the same roof screaming their lungs out in your face scares you (albeit, i too have shat a small bungalow here and there), we’d love to rock out with you this night and towards the early hours!!!

 Working on quite a few bits at the moment, we’ve got new songs in the pipeline one of which we’ll crack out for you guys on Saturday, a new E.P with fresh tracks and possibly a re-written oldie, more updates will follow.

 We’ve also got a gig in watford The Flag, we love this place, again more updates will follow, hopefully not 2 days beforehand!

Ten Ton Tabby are looking to record another E.P with Phill ‘The Skill’ Kinman at Kinman Productions later this year, few new tracks one of which you’ve heard called 9 to 5 if you’ve come down to check us out, and a few other tracks, will be an epic release!

We’re getting the Stone by Stone download up on site in the week so check this out when you can, on another note, we’ve managed to get the videos of us playing random gigs on our Video Page, so feel free to check them out when you can, will post more posts when posts are needed, unlike Royal Mail, but thats another story………

Dear Tabbywackers,

Yup, its true, the three day festival has been cancelled due to to much Rock.

They feared if pure Rock gathered over these three days, it would slowly fuse together either creating a small planet which would lift of from Earths orbit, plunge into the sun and destroy the universe, or create a massive rock machine band that will destory all music in all genres, and eventually itself, the result of this will leave us with Enya, and we dont want that………..

On the good side, this will be up and running next year, so for all of those who bought tents, dont take them back to Argos or Tescos just yet, keep hold of it in case its is cancelled aga………i mean on again!

Thats right, as in more cushion for the pushin’, Ten Ton Tabby will be taking our anger out this Saturday in Chesham for the ‘NOT DOWNLOAD’ gig, playing alongside our boys Grindhouse and other nutters with whom we cant wait to see!

“Hi ho, hi ho, were off to play a gig on Friday and Saturday with a few other dates to be announced soon for more gigs after these two but updates will be provided closer to the time we go!”

Never got a call back from a job interview for Disney, apparently they didnt think “kiss da girl” in the style of Napalm Death was the way to go, ah well, their loss.

Back to the point, Ten Ton Tabby will be playing at the Boston Music Room with our mates Diesel King, Steak and Mother Corona this Friday, kick offs around 7pm so grab your drinks, will be a rocking night!

Saturday, we’re dusting the van and emptying the crisp packets, as Ten Ton Tabby will be heading to Bournemouth for the INFESTIVAL, yes, joined with a bunch of nutters for a great night, this too shall also be rockin’!

Ahoy there beautiful people!!!

Well, we’ve a few gigs under our increasingly mahoooooooosive belt, and heres the details so far: -

27th of May we’re playing at the The Boston Arms in Tuffnel Park 28th of May we’re waiting on a few details so updates will be a plenty

2nd of July we’re playing Rumble Down South in Amersham, its a 3 day festival starting on the 1st to the 3rd and we’re on the saturday, shall be AWESOME!

4th of June, more details to be announced

Getting there, we have been hermiting slightly, drinking green tea, listening to Enya, going for runs and keeping ourselves fit……….Atkins diet………………keeping to our 5 a day…………….

Ok we lie, writting, practicing, getting a few new songs ready to smack out on these gigs, so if your thinking of comming down, dont think, theres no point, tried and tested, just come down and rock out with us and the many bands we’re playing with.

You can find the info on the bacefook page, but this will be updated for you lot as soon as more info’s up, and now im about to attempt a death defying ‘adding of videos and photos’, so feel free to have a browse of our reent gigs and vids and all that jazz!

In a Town far, far away…………………..

Well, 3 stops on the metropolitan line from Wembley Park towards Aldgate, resides a yours truely, with whom much has happened in the last few weeks, read on.

STONE BY STONE RECORDING HAS FINISHED!!!

Yup, with the help of Phil at Kinman Productions, Ten Ton Tabby have finally finished recording our next demo, lots of blood, sweat and beers, random smells and some strange korma and prawn cocktail crisps helped us along the path of finally getting this song down.

Taking 3 days to perfect, Aarons drums on the first day, Rythm guitars and bass the second, lead on the third (thanks to phill for letting me use his guitar, and cab, and head, and leads, and wah wah, thanks to Tom for the extra string, and ‘Big Man’ for the picks, i need to buy some equipment…..) and finished off with vocals, its sounding pretty damn fat, ten tons of it.

So, Phil, coupled with Gandalf, Dumbledor and Merlin, is working his magic polishing our mess up so cant wait to hear it, and cant wait to share it with you beautiful people, which should be available soon so more updates for that comming up.

On another note, we played a gig in the Hope and Anchor the other day.

Anyway…….

Nah it went well, bands we played with were awesome (we we’re supplying the gear so thanks for waiting a few hours guys!), but we’ve learnt 2 very valuable lessons: -

1. Never re-write songs live

2. Always have a Mat handy

Dude you know why, you are a legend.

Nothing else to report in the meantime, we’ve a gig on the 27th of May but again, we’ll get it up here for you lot closer to the time.

So many titles, i’d thought its best to strip it down to its bare minimum, so yeah, news.

We’ll, we’re in the studio tomorrow for the next 3 days gearing up to record Stone By Stone, drum tracks first, which means this will leave Tom and I 20 Minutes to get the guitars down and Ian will record the Bass at home, and take his usual 3 months to do so!

I’m kidding guys, we’re rehearsed, pumped up, with new strings, new skins and McDonald’s in our bellies we shall plow through this song like E. Honda to a Chinese buffet, all excited to get the finished product.

On another note (which seems to be less of now i have a tuner pedal), we’ve a gig on Friday at the Hope and Anchor in Islington, more information will be posted as soon as possible, wish us luck over the next few days and untill the next one……
