So many titles, i’d thought its best to strip it down to its bare minimum, so yeah, news.

We’ll, we’re in the studio tomorrow for the next 3 days gearing up to record Stone By Stone, drum tracks first, which means this will leave Tom and I 20 Minutes to get the guitars down and Ian will record the Bass at home, and take his usual 3 months to do so!

I’m kidding guys, we’re rehearsed, pumped up, with new strings, new skins and McDonald’s in our bellies we shall plow through this song like E. Honda to a Chinese buffet, all excited to get the finished product.

On another note (which seems to be less of now i have a tuner pedal), we’ve a gig on Friday at the Hope and Anchor in Islington, more information will be posted as soon as possible, wish us luck over the next few days and untill the next one……

What can be said that has not been said before when playing with Meansteed (previously White Lightning, aka the artists formaly known as ten white pussy mean lightning ton steed), bugger it, we’ll say it again:-

Awesome

We had three bands on that magical night, (the first were in Kerrang dont’cha know?), followed by our boys and girl Meansteed who again exploded with all the velocity of a hamster in a microwave, our set went down pretty well with a great sound brought to you by the infamous Tony, and thanks to all who popped down to support us, although the lack of one particular person refusing to jump on a couple of grenades for a certain someone was slightly heartbreaking but, there you go!

Recording Stone By Stone in the next 2 weeks, will let you guys know how its going and hopefully be available soon, either way we’ll keep you posted.

YO!

Well, what a week we’ve had, we’ve managed to bring balance to the force, fought our way through middle earth to destroy the one ring, helped a king overcome his speach impediment and had a mini tour in Wales with a radio interview, oh yeah, read on…….

Why we never played wales before is beyond us, the van actual made it there and back in one piece, thanks to John for putting us four up for the week (gooooooners!) and the AWESOME susage cassarole.

We started off on friday at The Patriot playing with a sweet band called OXP, a great bikers den with a bunch of rockin’ nutters who we had a blast playing for. Then on to the radio interview with Mountain FM (bunch of awesome blokes that we’re more than happy to have met), which was stationed up the side of what we can only discribe as “son of K2″, hopefully the interview went well, as it was more a laugh riot then anything else!

As soon as we get the link we’ll post it up for you lot to hear, then a gig at the Duke again with OXP, nice dark place and well recieved, all in all we had a great time down there and will happily do it again, you can check the video of Stone by Stone on Youtube.

Lastly thanks to Ray, OXP, and all others for helping us out, we love ya like a cat to Tesco vauled ham.

On to other news, Ten Ton Tabby will be playing the Dome on friday, doors open around 8PM so pop down and have a laugh with us and rock out for a night, more info will be posted.

And, AAAAAAAAAAAANNNNND (christ the fun never stops), we’ve got the click track ready for our new single Stone By Stone, so expect weekly updates every 3 weeks :-S.

Hola!

Thanks to all who braved TFL to come down to The Flag, we had a great time supporting these boys that night, and ive found a new reason to live, Hawiian baguettes……

Tom blasting his way on vocals, Ian pounding the crap out of the bass, Aaron deciding Warp speed on drums is for wimps, and ive managed to get away without playing with a pick for some part of the set, all in all we enjoyed every moment of it and thanks to the guys inviting us down, will be a pleasure to play there again whenever possible.

 Our next gig will be in Hoxton on the 31st, more details will follow, and maybe this time, a new song to add, we’ll get it up there for your listening pleasure but a word of warning: -

New song may result in a dragon chewing on your face and a goblin sword up your arse

Ok, the speakers did rot in the end, heres to the saintly sounds of tapping on the keyboard, or palm bashing in my case……

As the title states, Ten Ton Tabby will be playing alongside our new bro’s CASCADE, GATES OF REVULSION and GRINDHOUSE this comming saturday at The Flag in Watford, man………….this will be a bloody musical metal massacre i tell thee!

Doors open at 8pm and is £3.00 entry, so if you’ve returned those unwanted Christmas gifts back and looking for something to buy, why not an awesome rocktastic memory?

On another note, we’re in the final stages of getting the ideas down for our next E.P with a video, our Music For The Modern Woodsman E.P will be available for this gig to so gwaaaan treat yourself, “gwaaaan gwaaaan gwaaaan father gwaaaaan”!

“On the 4th day after Christmas my true love gave to me, an update from Ten Ton Tabby…..”

I dont care if is another year till the next one, we’ll be blasting out Bing Crosby until these speakers rot, hope you all had an awesome Christmas, and im sure i noticed roughly 7 different Christmas Carol films on the same day, its all about the muppets anyway.

Right, Back to reality or what we think is reality (ill leave that for Tom to fill in), we’ve got a few dates for gigs within a few weeks so as soon as we get more info we’ll get it up here for all to see. We’re cracking on with more new tunes so rehearsals a plenty, maybe spruce up the site abit, add a few more pics here and there, new tunes recorded etc, any ideas or if there are any bands out there looking to play together let us know, its all in the name of rock!

As the title suggests, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME DOWN TO TRINITY!

Yet again we hada blast supporting our good friends White Lightning, never have we before been in a band van which was not held together with gaffa tape, crisp packets and mcdonalds wrappers!

We hope you lot enjoyed our set, we have a few new songs in the pipeline looking to bring out next gig, we will be rehearsing and possibly starting another E.P, but thats hush hush at the moment and more details will follow in the new year.

So until the next time, we hope you have an awesome Christmas, i for one will not be leaving the house until Scrooge with Bill Murry comes on, Tom will not leave until he finds a way to sneak back into Zeus’ riff cuboard whilst simultaneously eating a live turkey, Ian will be knitting his new wig and learning to cook yet another curry, and Aaron will be trapped in the 50′s waiting to beat a few Mod’s with a ham and stuffing sandwhich.

A quick reminder for you lot, well i say quick, its as quick as you read the post, and if i babble on about how quick this will be, it will not be quick at all, so in short, this will be a moderatly paced reminder for all you beutiful people out there.

Yours truely and White Lightning will be proud to play the most beloved venue oposite kebbabland, the Trinity in Harrow, yup it’s that time again, well worth dragging the amps up the stairs and breathing in to let other people pass you mid way, god i love that place!

Our set will will consist of the standard tracks and a new jem we have finalized last rehearsal as an opener, we’re excited to pull this one out our Rocktastic bums so dont miss it!

Thats right, its an update, not just any old update, but a soft, creamy update with pipping hot chocolate sauce over a cold cheesecake type of update.

Never write this when your hungry, to hell with Marks and Sparks, talking about hell, we had a hell of a time at The Unicorn on the 6th of November with our new friends Drawbridgeman, Trippin’ Violet and the undisputed champions Ghost ‘n Goblins!

These boys put on a show to which we will be checking out in future when they next play, i suggest you guys do the same, we played our beloved set and kicked off with a new song ‘Ride the White Lightning’ dedicated to our boys and gal in White Lightning, and what a pleasure it was to see them again.

Talking about them, we’re gigging with these giants on the 10th of December at the Trinity bar in…….Ha……..Harr………Harrow, always fun to be had there, and kebabs.

Updates for that will follow now ive remembered the log in, but on the 16th of Novemeber we will be playing The Flag in Watford, (GOD i love highliting things!), as soon as we get word of the dudes we’re playing with, we’ll let you know.

Nothing else to report as yet, hitting the studios, writting more riffages, riffages to songs, songs to hum to when playing God of War, probably get stick for that one…….
